A course suitable for students needing physics as a preprequisite for polytechnic or university courses or for those with a science interest wanting to formalise their knowledge. Includes optics, waves, force and motion, electricity and magnetism, atomic structure.

Administrative information:
This course requires approximately six and two thirds hours per week.
Part-time correspondence mode is available to anyone aged 15 or over.
Full-time correspondence is for school-aged students who for various reasons cannot attend conventional schools.

All courses are available to non-permanent residents of New Zealand on a full fee paying basis, regardless of whether students are school-aged or adult, full-time or part-time.
